"Olde Songs That You Love" Tumblr Theme
This is my first Tumblr theme I’ve designed. It’s called “Olde Songs That You Love”, its name inspired by the antique songbooks I found and based the design on. Great for music lovers, lovers of a good thrift store find…and lovers in general. Meant to be simple, warm, cozy and worn in like an old book…an olde SONGbook.
Hope you all enjoy it, I’m excited to offer it to the Tumblr community. Hopefully it is the first of many themes to come.

Working on a new Tumblr theme called “Olde Songs”
While walking on the Upper West Side, I came across a man selling a bunch of old books and there among the old books was a faded old binder. I picked it up and it had nearly fifty old songbooks in it, some of them over a hundred years old. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it, but I wanted it so I negotiated with the man for the price of $5.
Recently, after putting together my portfolio site and modifying it to stylize my Tumblr blog, I decided to spend some time developing a theme for other people to use. The working title is “Olde Songs”, in reference to this binder of songbooks I had come across.
“Olde Songs” derives its design from several scans of some of these songbooks, and has a nice, old-timey feel to it. I expect it to be completed by the weekend, be on the lookout.
