After a month of freaking out about how my Tumblr blog cannot be found ANYWHERE in Google search results and trying all of the methods to fix that, I happened to use that trusted old search engine from the late 90s: Yahoo.com.

What did I find? When you search for Mike Gertrudes, the third result is my Tumblr blog!!! I had once suspected that Google might be purposely knocking on Tumblr in its results in some sort of big brother-esque attempt to either minimize their success/teach them a lesson in web standards/keep them down while they develop or promote a competitor (Blogger? Buzz?)- now I’m nearly convinced of it! Hmm, either way, I think something is up- I just wish Yahoo was more popular to drive my tumblelog traffic.

Ok, I suppose a better wish is for Google to stop hatin’.
